Hi, remember me? I’m still here, but as you might have noticed, my blog has gone silent for a while now. Where should I start?
Well, let me take you back to september. Just one week after my holiday was officially over, I ended up in the emergency room after another epileptic seizure. My recovery was slow, I hurt my head pretty bad.. I landed on the back of my head, which took a long time to heal and couldn’t be stitched up. The timing of a seizure is never good off course, but for me this really couldn’t happen at a worse time. Just got back to work, started a new job, started to follow a new vocal course and was just starting to drive a car again after a year. Stressful to say the least. My meds had to be changed up, which made me tired and drained all my energy all the time, and with that came a long list of uncomfortable side effects.
There have been ups, but many many many downs to say the least. It’s been a bit of a struggle.
I decided to focus on my recovery, trying to stay seizure free, do my work, and focus on the weekly vocal course that trains and educates me for a new chapter as a vocal coach and singer. That meant I had no time to write and share proper blogposts, for which I’m very sorry! But I prefer putting in time and effect to share cool things that inspire instead of writing blogposts about nothing or just crappy content.
I’m almost back to normal, just started to take new meds and currently on the last few weeks of my vocal course. I’m going to start things up again on Comme des Coco, and am very excited to take you with me on the new journey ahead as a blogger, singer and vocal coach.
For my Dutch readers: want to know more about my life as a singer or about the new vocal technique I’ll be teaching starting this january?
